Eloy Jimenez to Bat 6th for White Sox in Home Debut

The White Sox will get their home season underway on Friday against the Seattle Mariners

The Chicago White Sox are getting set to take the field on Friday for their home opener against the Seattle Mariners, and we now know how the team will line up for the big game.

The White Sox, who come home after a 2-3 road trip to start the regular season, had an extra day off before the big day at Guaranteed Rate Field, but they’ll start off their home slate on Friday under mostly cloudy skies on the South Side.

Highly touted prospect Eloy Jimenez will make his home debut for the White Sox, batting sixth and playing left field. Reynaldo Lopez will be on the hill for the game against the Mariners, and he will be opposed by left-handed hurler Yusei Kikuchi.

2 Tim Anderson – SS

3 Jose Abreu – 1B

4 Welington Castillo – C

5 Yoan Moncada – 3B

6 Eloy Jimenez – LF
