The Chicago White Sox had to wait a little while longer than they wanted to get their season underway, as their game against the Kansas City Royals was delayed by rain.

The White Sox, who are opening their season at Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City, finally got underway just after 5 p.m. following a round of rain and thunderstorms in the area.  

The original start time of the game, which featured Carlos Rodon take the hill against Brad Keller, was 3:15 p.m.
