Chicago White Sox Game Postponed Due to Severe Weather

The game has been rescheduled for Tuesday

The Chicago White Sox game against the Houston Astros Monday has been postponed due to stormy weather in the Chicago area.

The game was scheduled to take place at 7:10 p.m. Monday at Guaranteed Rate Field, but was postponed due to "inclement weather," according to a statement released by the White Sox.

The team announced the game will be made up Tuesday as part of a straight doubleheader beginning at 3:40 p.m., and the originally scheduled contest will begin about 30 to 40 minutes after the conclusion of the opener.

Fans with game tickets, parking coupons and Huntington Bank Stadium Club passes to Monday evening's game can only be used on Tuesday if they are exchanged at the box office prior to entry, a news release from the White Sox stated.

All exchanges must be done at the Guaranteed Rate Field box office during regular business hours.
