Chicago Cubs, White Sox Unveil 2019 Spring Training Schedules

The teams will each open their schedules with home dates on Feb. 23 in Arizona

Spring training is still six months away, but the Chicago Cubs and White Sox have given their fans something to look forward to by announcing their 2019 exhibition schedules.

The teams, who both train in Arizona, will kick off their spring training schedules in late February, and will take on some of the most talented teams in baseball in the process.

The Cubs, who train at Sloan Park in Mesa, will open their slate against the Milwaukee Brewers with a home game Feb. 23. They will close out Cactus League play with a pair of games in Mesa against the Boston Red Sox on March 25 and 26.

Meanwhile, the White Sox will start spring training with a traditional matchup against fellow Camelback Ranch tenants, as they take on the Los Angeles Dodgers on Feb. 23 in Glendale. The White Sox will wrap up spring training against the Arizona Diamondbacks at Phoenix’s Chase Field on March 25 and 26.

The Cubs and White Sox will battle twice in the spring season, with the teams playing in Mesa on March 3 and in Glendale on March 15.
