Taylor Davis' 1st Big League Homer a Memorable One for Cubs

Davis came into the game with three RBI to his credit in his career

Chicago Cubs catcher Taylor Davis hasn’t gotten much of a chance to play recently as Willson Contreras has gotten off to a hot start to the season, but he made some serious noise on Saturday at Wrigley Field.

Davis, who has appeared in 17 career games and had three RBI entering Saturday’s game against the St. Louis Cardinals, dramatically increased that total with one swing of the bat in the fourth inning, as he unloaded the bases with a game-tying grand slam:

The home run was not only a big moment in the game, but it was a big moment for Davis too. The home run was the first of his big league career, coming in his 25th at-bat in the majors.
