Heyward was injured going for a fly ball in the game against the Braves

After going hard for a fly ball in the Chicago Cubs’ game against the Atlanta Braves, outfielder Jason Heyward was forced to leave the contest with an injury.

Heyward, who was playing center field for the Cubs on Thursday night, barely missed the ball off the bat of Freddie Freeman, and was forced to exit the contest with an undisclosed injury.

According to the Cubs, Heyward left the game due to tightness in his right hamstring, and he is still being evaluated.
