David Bote and Kyle Schwarber both hit home runs, and Kyle Hendricks pitched seven innings of shutout baseball as the Chicago Cubs finished off a four-game sweep of the Cincinnati Reds on Sunday.

Hendricks allowed just two hits and struck out five batters, and Randy Rosario finished off the game with two innings of scoreless relief as the Cubs cruised to their fifth straight win.

The Cubs also got big offensive performances out of Jason Heyward, who went 4-for-4 with two RBI and three runs scored, and Anthony Rizzo, who scored three times and collected two doubles on the afternoon.

The Cubs got on the board early in the first inning as they scored three times off Reds starter Homer Bailey. Willson Contreras notched an RBI groundout in the frame, and Heyward socked an RBI triple to give the team the early lead.

The Cubs kept adding in the middle stages of the game, as Bote socked his sixth home run of the season in the third inning and Heyward added another RBI single in the fifth to extend the cushion. Schwarber added a home run for good measure in the seventh to put the Cubs ahead by nine, and they cruised to the win.

After the sweep, the Cubs will begin a three game series at Wrigley Field against the New York Mets on Monday, with Jon Lester taking the ball against Noah Syndergaard.
