Bryce Harper Sends Internet Into Frenzy With Video Game Cover

Harper will be an unrestricted free agent beginning Saturday

The biggest story in sports this winter is the eventual landing spot of Washington Nationals outfielder Bryce Harper in free agency, and a video game maker is feeding into the hype in a big way.

Harper, who is poised to become one of the highest paid free agents of all time, will have an opportunity to pick a new home, and video game players will do in “MLB: The Show 19:”

“Honored to be selected as the PlayStation ambassador for The Show cover!,” he tweeted. “Follow along this offseason to see what uniform I will be wearing on the final cover!”

Predictably, everyone lost their minds with the new cover to the video game, with some even running polls as to which team Harper will ultimately sign with.

The Chicago Cubs have long been rumored to be among the potential landing spots for Harper, as he has developed a strong friendship with third baseman Kris Bryant.
