Bob Newhart, one of several locally raised, life-long Chicago Cubs fans who became consistent fixtures of the MLB postseason summed up 108 years of cursed-team pain in five words: "The billy goat is dead!!"

Newhart flew the "W" on Twitter once again after the Cubs beat the Indians in extra innings to win the World Series.

Hillary Clinton took to Twitter to rival her memorable reaction to the Cubs winning the NLCS last month.

Her campaign’s deputy organizing director tweeted a photo of Clinton raising her arm in the air and celebrating the win.
