Jake Arrieta, Delle Donne Among Athletes Baring All in ESPN The Magazine's Annual ‘Body Issue'

Chicago will be well-represented in this year's ESPN the Magazine Body Issue, as Cubs pitcher Jake Arrieta and Elena Delle Donne will bare all for the publication

ESPN The Magazine revealed their roster for the upcoming annual 'Body Issue' Tuesday morning, and there will be two Chicago athletes that will strut their stuff in the iconic magazine.

Those athletes are Chicago Cubs pitcher Jake Arrieta, who is following up his 2015 Cy Young Award-winning season with an impressive 2016 campaign, and Chicago Sky superstar Elena Delle Donne, fresh off a 2015 season that saw her win the league’s MVP award.

Here is ESPN’s video promoting the magazine:

Arrieta, a well-known fitness freak that has lauded the use of Pilates as part of his remarkable comeback story, has an 11-1 record with a sparkling 1.74 ERA for the Cubs in 14 starts this season.

Delle Donne, who will represent the United States in the 2016 Rio Olympics later this summer, is averaging 18.4 points and 6.7 rebounds per game in 11 contests so far this season for the Sky.

Chicago native Dwyane Wade will also appear in the magazine, which will come out on newsstands on July 8. MMA star Conor McGregor, NFL stars Antonio Brown and Von Miller, and Team USA soccer standout Christen Press will also shed their clothes for the issue, which celebrates the diversity and the effectiveness of athlete’s bodies.
