Rizzo is extremely active in the battle against cancer, using the Anthony Rizzo Family Foundation to “raise money for cancer research and to provide support to children and their families battling the disease,” according to the foundation’s website. Rizzo himself is a cancer survivor, having battled Hodgkin’s lymphoma while a member of the Boston Red Sox organization in 2008.
