After Cubs' World Series Hopes Dashed, Fan Sells Signs on Craigslist

One Chicago Cubs fan is giving away his signs along with all hope for a 2015 World Series run.

A day after the Cubs lost Game 4 of the NLCS, sending the Mets to the World Series in their place, a Craigslist ad appeared touting "Free Signs (Trash)." The photo shows a crooked sign in a trash can that reads "Next Year Is FINALLY Here!" with a Cubs logo.

The signs are free of charge, and the person who posted the ad encouraged anyone interested to "feel free to swing by and pick up" one of them from a residence not too far from Wrigley Field.

After an incredible season, the Cubs fell short of a World Series run when they lost the first four games of the NLCS against the Mets. Contrary to the sign on Craigslist, next year is still next year for the Cubs.
