Chicago, IL (Sports Network) - Chicago Bulls guard Derrick Rose left a 112-104 overtime preseason victory over the Milwaukee Bucks Friday with what is being called a strained right hip flexor.
Rose, the first overall pick in last month's draft, suffered the injury after landing awkwardly driving the lane for a layup in the first quarter.
The Memphis product scored seven points and had two assists in a little over five minutes before leaving.
The Bulls open their regular season schedule Tuesday at home versus the Bucks.
