Own Bears in your fantasy league? We feel sorry for you

The Bears are not playing well. The offense especially. Jay Cutler threw five picks against the lowly 49ers, and the Bears' haven't been able to run the football all year. , the general lack of competency. When the Bears offense plays that poorly, it carries over into fantasy.

But hey, it's a new week and these aren't the 49ers. They're, um, the Eagles. Sigh. This isn't going to go well, is it?

Jay Cutler/Stock Falling: Unfortunately for Cutler owners, he's in the worst rut of his career. His five-interception performance against the 49ers was putrid. Fortunately for Cutler, he's matched up against a really banged-up Eagles secondary down to its last few cornerbacks. If there's any week for Cutler to improve, to rebuild his reputation and get the Bears back on track offensively, this is it. Expect at least a couple of touchdowns; anything else, and Bears fans will riot.

Matt Forte/Stock Tanking: Another week and nothing's changed. Forte's numbers are almost nonexistent, and the Bears' offensive line is to blame. If you have Forte in a points-per-reception league, that's some refuge, because the Bears seem to be throwing more screens to Forte. But still, same deal. Don't expect much, if anything, from Forte.

Greg Olsen/Stock Rising: Olsen's numbers will suffer along with Cutler's, but he's still the most reliable Bears receiver, and the Eagles had trouble matching up with Antonio Gates last Sunday. Olsen should improve his production this week.

Bears WRs/Crashing: Ah, the motley crew. Same deal, again: Devin Hester and Johnny Knox are barely productive, and Earl Bennett isn't even that. Even if Cutler plays well, none of the Bears' wideouts is guaranteed anything.

At this point, it's probably worth nothing that if you're reading this, you're both a Bears fan and have Bears players on your fantasy team. In which case, we apologize. That's just depressing.
