In this Monday edition of Bears Bites, we take a look at a couple of mock drafts done by various NFL experts, and we determine who the Chicago Bears will likely be targeting through the eyes of pundits like Brad Biggs and John Mullin.

-We start off with Adam Hoge and his continuing series on the Bears’ Big Board. In this piece, he profiles tight end Eric Ebron. No, it doesn’t seem likely that the Bears would go offense with their first round pick, but Hoge makes an interesting case that the team would be well off to possibly go after a player of Ebron’s caliber. -Former Chicago Bears DE (and current NBC Chicago analyst) Dan Hampton called the Bears’ 2013 defense a “joke” in a recent interview. [ESPN Chicago]

-Finally, the Bears have been expressing optimism that the workout ethic of Shea McClellin will result in a bounceback season for the newly minted linebacker. We aren’t sure whether or not to share their optimism. [Chicago Sun-Times]
