Yoenis Céspedes Golfed Ahead of Game 4 of NLCS

Golfers at Medinah Country Club in Chicago's Western Suburbs got a surprise Wednesday.

Although many would agree the day was perfect for golf, people laughed when Mets outfielder Yoenis Cespedes arrived with his Florida Club pro to play Medinah's Championship Course number 3.

It was suprising to see that just hours before taking on the Cubs in Game 4 of the NLCS their starting outfielder was going to swing a golf club on one of the country's most challenging courses.

His identity was confirmed by multiple sources at Medinah CC.

No word what Cespedes scored on his 18 holes but when he left Game four in the 2nd inning with shoulder soreness it makes you wonder -- should he have been swinging a golf club at the most important time of the year for his team, with a pennant on the line and a trip to the World Series?[[335407941, C]]
