Cook County officials have issued an arrest warrant for a Massachusetts woman accused of stalking Cubs president Theo Epstein last summer.
Kathleen Kearney allegedly violated the conditions of her release and the State's Attorney's office is seeking to extradite her from Boston to Chicago, the Chicago Sun-Times reported.
According to court documents, Kearney, 44, was recently hospitalized after cutting her hand in the parking lot of a Catholic school and church, and claims she was unable to charge her GPS device that her probation officer uses to track her.
Kearney, 44, was arrested two blocks away from Epstein's North Side home last July after investigators say she flew to Chicago, went to Epstein's home and gained entry inside after his wife mistook her for a neighbor, and later followed Epstein home from Wrigley Field and made her way inside the gate.
Kearney was reportedly involved in two prior incidents involving Epstein when he was GM of the Boston Red Sox, including an attempt bring him food from Burger King to Fenway Park, although she was never charged.
Authorities had trouble tracking her background because her fingers are scarred and she is even missing some fingertips, prosecutors said at the time.
Kearney faces two counts of felony stalking.
