D-Wade: “I'm in a New York State of Mind”

Comments on free agency while walking into a Chicago hotel

Did Dwyane Wade just tip his hand?

The free-agent superstar is in Chicago meeting with suitors, but he told onlookers he was “in a New York state of mind.”

As Wade entered the Peninsula Hotel a camera man yelled out to him asking about the Knicks' chances of landing the stud guard.

“Well, I’m in a New York state of mind right now,” Flash said with a smile. “So we’ll see.” When he left about two hours later, he said "It was a good meeting," before waving to the crowd and being driven away.

Wade's comments come just hours after he made a rare tweet about the free agency process, which for him started with a meeting at the United Center with Bulls management.

“Up early and ready to go. Another day of pondering my future. Hmmmmmm. Things are interesting to say the least,” he wrote.

Last night, Wade sat down for dinner with another mega-watt free agent in Chicago when he met up with Chris Bosh

Bosh tweeted about the dinner.

“Just had dinner w @dwadeoffical. Great way to end day 1 of #freeagency although it feels like someone s missing ….” Bosh wrote.

One would assume he was referring to LeBron James, who is meeting with suitors in Ohio.

Bosh is slated to meet with Bulls management today.
