Prep Destination Dance Friday: Libertyville H.S

NBC 5 News Today visited Libertyville High School Friday morning for Prep Destination of the Week

Students from Lake Forest and Libertyville high schools were full of energy Friday morning before their last home football game Friday night.

The Scouts and Wildcats participated in an early morning tailgate, after winning the most votes on the NBC 5 News Today Facebook poll for Prep Destination of the week.

Kickoff for the Sophomore football game will be at 5 p.m., while the Varsity game will begin at 7:30 p.m.

This will be the last home game for Libertyville's head coach, Randy Kuceyeski, who is retiring after 33 years of coaching, and 18 years as head coach of the Wildcats.

"Coach Cuz" has been battling a form of oral cancer throughout the season, yet he continues to inspire his players and the entire Libertyville community.

Best of luck to the Scouts and Wildcats on their exciting game Friday night!
