Michael Jordan Art Work Coming to Mag Mile

Micheal Jordan is one of several celebrities endorsing works of art for a new public art exhibit in Chicago

Michael Jordan gave his signature of a approval on a work of art for the 39th Ryder Cup that will be featured along Michigan Avenue.

The basketball legend is one of many local, international and celebrity artists decorating three-foot diameter Tartan golf balls for the public art exhibit dubbed "Tartan Art on the Avenue." It runs for the entire month of September, celebrates "Magnificent Moments," the unique one-of-a-kind fundraiser for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chicagoland & Northwest Indiana and the Illinois PGA Foundation.

Each ball is available for sale and some have already sold, according to the official website. But Jordan's ball featuring his iconic "Jumpman" silhouette along with his autograph is up for grabs.

The Ryder Cup will be played Sept. 25-30 at Medinah Country Club.
