Bulls in the Dwight Howard Conversation

Chicago could have the best trade bait.

Dwight Howard to the Bulls?

That's the latest rumor about Orlando's All-star center that has taken the Internet by storm.

Yahoo! Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski reported on Tuesday that the Bulls were still a sleeper in the Dwight Howard sweepstakes, even though LA and Dallas are more likely destinations.

Sam Smith of Bulls.com said Chicago has the best parts of any Howard courters to deal to Orlando. He proposed sending Joakim Noah, Luol Deng and Taj Gibson to the Magic for Howard and Brandon Bass. In his column he said:

"Howard could come to the Bulls and be the best center in franchise history and not have to be the best player on the team, which is why Howard can’t win in Orlando."

Yet Howard might be much more willing to share the spotlight with the likes of Kobe Bryant, rather than Derrick Rose, who looks to be the cornerstone of the Bulls' franchise for years to come.

It's also hard to imagine that Orlando would deal Howard to a fellow Eastern Conference contender.

Finally, it's been rumored that Howard wants to play in a warm-weather city, a prerequisite for which Chicago certainly does not apply.
