Last year he was teased about his golden locks.
On Thursday, Gordon Beckham was casually tying the laces of his spikes when someone asked him about the new nameplate hanging above his locker.

As in YouTube-turned-pop-star-sensation, Justin Bieber.
"I don't care if it gets me some hits and the team gets a win? You can call me that all year, okay!" Beckham laughed while looking for the culprit.
Beckham is hitting just .206 this season while his White Sox team is just 12-16 this season.
"We kind of joked around in New York and played one of his songs and won, so we played it after the game... I'm not a huge fan, but I can't say I haven't never listened to his songs, they're catchy."

So Beckham just may keep the Bieber nickname since it apparently comes with a lot of luck.
