Windy City? Election Day to Bring Gusty Winds, Colder Temps

Temperature highs will be in the upper-40s in most locations, but a spot or two could reach 50 degrees

It’s going to be windy in the city – and across the Chicago area -- this Election Day.

As the polls open, cloudy skies will likely bring spotty showers and sprinkles to spots through the mid-morning hours.

The clouds are expected to break for some sunshine by the afternoon, but conditions will stay windy and chilly.

Temperature highs will be in the upper-40s in most locations, but a spot or two could reach 50 degrees.

Strong wind gusts of up to 40 mph will make it feel colder, however.
