Blagojevich Stopped From Signing Autographs in Courtroom

After his defense team rested their case -- meaning former governor Rod Blagojevich would not take the stand, despite months of promises -- the former governor began to sign autographs for spectators.

Federal marshalls prompty restrained him from doing so.

When the defense announced their decision to rest, Judge James Zagel asked Blagojevich if he understood the decision. Blagojevich said he made discussed testifying with his lawyers "fully and completely."

Zagel then called a recess.

"Sometimes," Blagojevich said as he walked out of the courtroom, "you have to listen to the advice of your lawyers"
