Dick Green (R) is running for U.S. Congress 10th District.

Dick Green is no political newbie. He's been active in the Republican party since 1997 when he signed on as a County Chairman for the Republican Party in California.

Green started his own business in 1993 which now is headquartered in Chicago and employs over 60 people.  When he moved to Winnetka in 2000, he became active in the New Trier Township Republican Organization. In 2009, Dick was promoted to Deputy Committeeman.

Green is running on a platform of economic change. A business owner and stock market analyst, he touts his business acumen on his campaign website.
"In 2005, Smart Money Magazine named Dick a top market mover on its annual Power 30 list. Dick has also been quoted regularly in the Wall Street Journal, been a guest on TV shows such as Nightly Business Report with Paul Kangas, and appeared on numerous financial radio shows."
Green has been married for 18 years and he still lives in Winnetka.
