Illinois Races: Bob Dold for 10th Congressional District

Bob Dold runs Rose Pest Solutions, an exterminator business that serves the greater Chicagoland area.  So far he's resisted the urge to say he's going to run the vermin out of congress. That's because he's not running as a reformer, he's going for the institutional angle.

"Prior to taking over control of Rose Pest Solutions from his father, Bob gathered extensive and diverse experience both in Washington and business.  He served as an investigative counsel for the House Government Reform and Oversight Committee and worked for the Vice President in the first Bush administration.  Bob has been active in local Republican Party activities for more than 20 years. He has also worked on numerous Presidential campaigns since 1992," his campaign site says.

Dold lives on the North Shore with his wife and three children. He's also a scout master. His favorite movie is "Quiet Man" and his favorite book is Ayn Rand's Fountainhead.

A blog called "Chicks on the Right" says Dold is "easy on the eyes," and promised a hug assault if he ever stops by for a face to face interview.
