Treat Yo Self This Weekend

Tom and Donna from Parks & Recreations aren’t the only ones who know it’s good to treat yo’ self (Watch here!). This week, 1st Look is doing the same and spoiling you with some of the best desserts around town. Here’s a list of more snacks to satiate that sweet tooth until Saturday night’s show. Today is definitely turning around to be the “best day of the yeaaar!”

EE Cookies
After our office tried about 50 of these cookies, we came to the conclusion that they’re incredible. Ok, it really only took biting into one to realize that, but trust us, these are not your ordinary cookies. Our top picks: Dark Chocolate Chunks with Dried Cherries, Triple Chocolate Chip with Pecans, and the one that ran out first: Peanut Butter (made with Reese's Pieces and Peanut Butter Cups).

Popbar
A whole store dedicated to the creation and customization of popsicles? Yes, it’s true. The first ever storefront to serve deliciously sweet handcrafted gelato on a stick is located in the West Village off of 6th Avenue. Stop by and choose from a wide variety of flavors, toppings, and dips to make your pop, well, POP! Our go-to combo: Lemon sorbet popsicle dipped in milk chocolate and coated in pistachios. Trust us, we’re popaholics.

Glaser's
This bakery’s Black ‘N’ White cookies should be condemned--they’re that good. The cookie part is soft with a nice crumby bite, and as far as the B&W goes, it takes a spin from tradition with its chocolate and vanilla creamy frosting, instead of that hard shell normally found on this New York staple of a cookie.

Sweet Freida
It’s a little early for holiday cheer, but with Sweet Freida candy, that cheer comes year round. Craque candy is bite-sized, gluten-free, Rice Chex covered in chocolate, peanut butter and powedered sugar, offered in all combinations and customizable gifts.  Our favorites for the upcoming season: "Lump of Coal," "Hanukkah Guilt," "Rocks for your Socks," and "Eggnog." We’ve definitely started on a bad addiction.
