Daniel Fleetwood, 32, of Spring, Texas, was diagnosed two years ago with a rare connective tissue cancer called spindle cell sarcoma. On Sept. 2, doctors gave him two months to live.

Ashley shared a photo of her husband on Twitter with the caption, "#forcefordaniel help my man get his last wish, to see a screening of Star Wars before cancer takes him. @bad_robot."

It caught the attention of the film’s director, J.J. Abrams.
