Tense 911 Call Came From Mischa Barton's Home – Days Before Her Hospitalization

Just three days before Mischa Barton was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for what a source told Access Hollywood was an involuntary psychiatric hold, the star appears to have called 911 for a separate incident.

On Sunday, July 12, in a call obtained by Access, a female who seems to be Mischa called 911 asking for help for a friend she believed had broken his leg while at the star's Hollywood Hills home.

"My friend broke his leg… He fell down the stairs and broke his leg, he's in a lot of pain," the woman told the operator. "He literally rolled down the entire flight of stairs."

The operator then questioned her about the status of the friend as she became audibly frustrated.

"He's 30. He's conscious… umm… I don't know, " she said as the 911 operator went through questions about the height of the man's fall. "[He fell down] 16 [stairs]. It's his knee, actually, he thinks. It's swelling, he says."

"Is there any active bleeding that you're aware of?" the operator queried.

"Is there any bleeding?" the woman shouted away from the phone.

"Not that he's aware of… I'll tell him not to move," she continued, interrupting the operator before shouting away from the phone again.

"Can you please f***ing be quiet so I can listen to this guy?" she yelled.

The 911 operator then gave her further instructions on the friend's care after which she said, "Alright, thank you."

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, authorities responded to a separate, non-911 call from Barton on July 15 at the actress' home. She was later escorted by police from her home to an undisclosed location. A source told Access the actress was later taken to Cedars-Sinai, where she was placed under an involuntary psychiatric hold.

Mischa returned to work on Wednesday as scheduled on The CW's "The Beautiful Life."
