Taylor Swift Announces New Album, Release Date

Swift announced the news in a series of images on her social media accounts Wednesday

Well, if you've been wondering what Taylor Swift is up to after scrubbing her social media accounts, only to resurface earlier this week with bizarre videos of a black snake, speculate no more.

The "Shake It Off" songstress has a new album coming your way.

Swift announced the news in a series of images posted on her social media accounts Wednesday. Her first post revealed that the album's first single will be "out tomorrow night,” while the second image depicts what appears to be an album cover featuring Swift staring at the camera.

Finally, the third image reveals the forthcoming album's title, Reputation, along with the release date.

Fans are no doubt eager for Swift's musical reemergence as Reputation will be the singer's first follow-up to 2014’s hugely successful "1989."

Swift was in the news for other reasons in recent weeks, successfully fending off a lawsuit against radio personality David Mueller after she accused of groping her during a photo shoot. Mueller accused Swift of costing him his job, but Swift won a symbolic $1 victory against Mueller in the case.
