Director Spike Lee is going back to the Big Easy see how much progress has been made since Hurricane Katrina, in an as-yet untitled sequel to his documentary "When the Levees Broke."

"'When the Levees Broke’ was a landmark in documentary filmmaking,” said Sheila Nevins, president, HBO Documentary Films.  “It’s an exciting notion to anticipate Spike going back for this reprise."

More than four years after the devastating power of Katrina and the staggering incompetence of the government were unleashed on New Orleans, Lee is returning with his crew. If you've been to New Orleans since the storm, you know that the cleanup is far from finished. For those who haven't been, Lee is likely to offer a stark vision of a community still in dire need.
