President-elect Barack Obama and his daughters, Malia and Sasha, picked out the family Christmas tree Sunday. Now all the girls need is that puppy to go underneath it.
Obama took the girls and a friend to a neighborhood tree lot Sunday afternoon where dozens gathered to see what kind a tree the future President would pick this year. They were out of luck as the family decided to have the three delivered to their Hyde Park home.
It will be the last tree shopping the girls will do for a few years as the Obama's prepare to move into the White House, where the holiday planning is handled by staff.

"Merry Christmas, everybody," Obama said as the family left the lot.
