Royal Wedding Will Be Appropriately Fancy

The reception will span 19 rooms of Buckingham Palace

Despite it being publicized as a low-key wedding, the upcoming wedding of Prince William and Catherine Middleton will be anything but.

The Daily Mail recently released lush photos of the 19 rooms in Buckingham Palace where the royal reception will be held after the wedding takes place in Westminster Abbey on April 29.

Some of the rooms include the State Dining Room, decked out with oil paintings of British monarchs throughout history, and the White Drawing Room, a lavish space overlooking the gardens with a Royals-only secret entrance.

A traditional fruitcake--the couple's wedding cake--will be displayed in the portrait gallery among priceless works of art.

Those lucky enough to attend will also be eating like royalty. Though the menu is still closely guarded, it will be prepared by the staff in charge of producing all meals when the Queen is in residence.

What will the happy couple be drinking? Only soft drinks, the Mail says, save a glass of champagne for the toast.
