The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will forever be immortalized, thanks to Mattel.
Mattel Inc, the U.S. manufacturer of Barbie dolls since 1945, has announced that it will release a special two-doll set in April commemorating the one-year anniversary of Prince William and Catherine Middleton’s wedding at Westminster Abbey, the U.K. Daily Mail reported.
The grinning miniature royal couple don full wedding attire replicating what they wore on their April 29 ceremony, which was viewed by an estimated 3 billion people globally.
Mattel’s Princess Catherine is dressed in a mini traditional ivory gown resembling the Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen gown she wore on her wedding day. Her veil, diamond-studded tiara, matching dangling earrings, and a white bouquet of flowers in hand complete the look.

Prince William wears his red Irish Guards colonel’s uniform complete with a blue Order of the Garter sash decorated with tiny medals.
The plastic figurines, priced at $100 a set, are a part of Mattel’s Barbie Collector series and are available for pre-order online now at BarbieCollector.com.
In keeping with the wedding theme, earlier this month Mattel released the bride and groom doll versions of Bella and Edward from the popular “Twilight” saga.
