Michael Clarke Duncan to Have Public and Private Burial Ceremonies

Actor's funeral will begin this weekend with an invitation-only service to follow on Monday.

Michael Clarke Duncan will soon be laid to rest.

The actor's publicist Joy Fehily told E! News that a public viewing of his casket will be held at the Hall of Liberty, located at the Forest Lawn Memorial-Parks and Mortuaries in Hollywood Hills this Sunday, Sept. 9, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Duncan was slated to appear on Bones again

Fehily adds that a private service, invitation only, will be held the following day, Monday, Sept. 10, and will be led by Bishop Charles Blake and the eulogy will be given by Dr. H. Beecher Hicks.

Duncan, 54, died on Monday from what the coroner has recently confirmed as natural causes. His fiance, reality-TV personality Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth's rep told E! News that the actor "never fully recovered" from his July 13 heart attack, and added, "Manigault is grateful for all of your prayers and asks for privacy at this time."

The 6-foot-5-inch, 300-pound star is known for his Oscar-nominated role in "The Green Mile." Duncan's other films included "Daredevil," "Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby," "Planet of the Apes" and "Armageddon."

RIP to these other fallen stars
