The estimated Mega Millions jackpot rose to $454 million, making it potentially the 7th largest lottery jackpot in the U.S.
The numbers drawn Tuesday night were 29, 46, 53, 64, 73, and Mega ball 10.
The prize increased slightly Tuesday from $449 million. The jackpot will be the largest since a $429.6 million Powerball prize won by a New Jersey family May 7. The largest Mega Millions jackpot ever was $656 million, which was drawn by tickets in Kansas, Illinois and Maryland.
U.S. & World
No ticket matched all six winning numbers on Friday, which meant there was no Fourth of July weekend windfall after 33 consecutive drawings.
The record prize for a U.S. lottery was a $1.6 billion Powerball jackpot won in January by players in three states.
Mega Millions is played in 44 states, plus Washington, D.C. and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Nevada, Utah, Mississippi, Alabama, Alaska and Hawaii are the only non-participating states.
The odds of picking the correct numbers on five white balls and one yellow ball in Mega Millions are one in 259 million.
The drawing took place at 11 p.m. ET Tuesday.
