Live in Alex Rodriguez's Dream Home

Alex Rodriguez reportedly spent more than $24 million building his dream home in Miami, but the slugger has apparently already tired of his custom crib and is looking to unload it for $38 million, reports Curbed. The waterfront mansion features tons of jaw-dropping designs and amenities such as two docks, a batting cage, 16-camera security system, and 12-foot walls of impact glass. While the dream has clearly ended for A-Rod, it can be had by you as long as you can shell out $38 million.

Whether you're looking for water frontage (this home has 275 feet of it!) or a dip in the swimming pool, Rodriguez's property has it all.

The modern spread features walls of glass and is certainly a sight to see. When the Yankees superstar was building the home, he reportedly listened to input from ex-girlfriend, Cameron Diaz. Perhaps, that's the reason Rodriguez is unloading his supposed dream home.

The spread features a whopping 13 baths. Check out this swanky bathroom that isn't exactly designed for privacy.

It's no wonder A-Rod spent over $24 million constructing his house. Materials include organic coral rock, white oak floors and Zen gardens.

Rodriguez clearly designed the spread with an emphasis on the indoor/outdoor living component. With walls of glass, an outdoor dining room, and covered terrace, this home is meant for the lines to be blurred between the exterior and interior spaces.

The Yankees star shelled out $7.4 million for the property in June 2010. We wonder if A-Rod intended to sell his swanky dream home the entire time or if his break-up with Diaz has anything to do with the listing.

There aren't many entrances that are as impressive as this one. Look up to the second floor and the chic works of art are visible through wooden slats. Gaze through the massive front door and you'll see amazing views of Biscayne Bay.

Unobstructed views of Biscayne Bay and the skyline are visible from the home. Also included in the $38 million price tag is bragging rights to 275-feet of water frontage with two docks.

A baseball player's dream house sure wouldn't be complete without a standalone gym and batting cage.
