Secretary of State John Kerry will travel to Egypt on Monday to push a ceasefire in Gaza, NBC News reported. "The United States — and our international partners — are deeply concerned about the risk of further escalation, and the loss of more innocent life," the U.S. State Department said in a statement. The past two weeks of fighting have resulted in hundreds of deaths, mostly Palestinian civilians, and thousands of injuries.
