“Inspector Gadget” Creator Selling Luxe Digs

We all know the clumsy, yet endearing Inspector Gadget, but it is Andy Heyward, the creator of the show, who is now making headlines. According to the Los Angeles Times, Heyward and his wife Amy recently listed their Hollywood Hills West mansion for $7.85 million. The home is totally luxurious with three bedrooms and 3.5 baths and we think the clumsy Inspector Gadget would totally wreck havoc on the grand space if he ever entered the home. Heyward clearly has a love for the good ol' inspector. Here's a look through the front door, and lo and behold, a colorful portrait of Inspector Gadget hangs front and center. There's no trace of Penny or Gadget's side kick pooch Brian though.

A view of the walk-in closet in Heyward's master suite. Everything in the home is so well organized (or err…staged). Inspector Gadget would be toppling things over left and right in the immaculate house.

Unfortunately, "Inspector Gadget" isn't playing on the big screen, but the home theater is quite impressive none the less.
