Craig Kilborn Unloads L.A. Pad

After a short stint hosting the "Kilborn File," Craig Kilborn is apparently done with Hollywood, or at least with his lavish Tinseltown home, according to the Los Angeles Times. The original host of "The Daily Show" just sold his Spanish-style residence for $2.9 million, which is significantly less than the $3.495 million price tag attached to the house when it first hit the market last September. Take a tour of Kilborn's former crib, which was also once owned by the late actor Dennis Hopper.

Kilborn hosted "The Daily Show" from 1996-1999. He went on to host "The Late Late Show" for five years, but has recently remained out of the public eye. Is this listing just another hint that we'll be seeing even less of Kilborn in the future?

According to public listing, Kilborn bought the house in 2001 for $2.495 million, which means that even though Kilborn didn't fetch his original asking price, he did indeed make a significant profit on the sale.
