Cookware brand Calphalon is recalling one of its pizza slicing products because there’s a risk it may cut the user’s fingers.
The handle of the Calphalon pizza wheel can detach during use, creating a laceration hazard, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission.
At least 11 incidents have been reported, six of which included finger lacerations. One customer needed stitches and another received medical attention to close a wound.
The pizza cutters were sold at Bed Bath & Beyond, J.C. Penny, Kohls, Target, Walmart, Amazon, Sears and other stores between January 2006 and August 2015 for about $15.
