WATCH: Youth Football Team ‘Whips' It Up During Halftime With ‘Nae Nae'

What happens when your favorite jam comes on? If you're like the Milford, Massachusetts, Mighty Mites -- you bust a move in between plays.

"Some of them started dancing, some of them kept playing. And it was just really cute, great, I was glad I had the camera rolling," said team mom Laure Farrell.

Farrell says the team was invited to scrimmage against each other during the Milford High School homecoming football game. When the marching band didn't show up because of rain, the hit song, "Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)" by Atlanta-based rapper Silento, came over the loudspeaker.

The Mighty Mites were competing and had the ball - just like the kids in his music video, the team started showing off their moves.

People around the world have watched these little guys dance. In just four days, their Youtube video has close to half a million hits.

"I couldn't believe that, because like I said, they'll do it like at the drop of a hat," said head coach John Farrell. "They'll just start busting a move."

The coach says his players aren't shy about their skills, and given a chance to show off and teach someone how to whip, they took advantage of it.
