Recap: A Look at Robert Mueller's Testimony

Mueller testified publicly Wednesday in back-to-back hearings before the House Judiciary and intelligence committees

Former special counsel Robert Mueller told lawmakers Wednesday that Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election was "not a witch hunt" and "not a hoax," as President Donald Trump has claimed. Mueller testified before the House intelligence and judiciary committees in back-to-back hearings to answer questions for the first time about his two-year investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election and possible collusion and obstruction of justice by Trump.

Mueller also stated Wednesday that his investigation did not "exonerate" Trump and affirmed that a president can be charged with crimes after leaving office.
