Macy's Recalls Martha Stewart Knife Set After Injuries

The knife set was sold in Macy stores and online between Jan. 2014 and July 2017 for about $25, the company said

Macy’s department store announced Friday that it is recalling a set of Martha Stewart collection cake knives after a number of people have cut themselves using them.

The handles on the knives can break, causing cuts and lacerations to the owner, the U.S. consumer product safety commission said. Macy’s has received four reports of users being cut by the cookware, including cuts that need stitches to heal.

The knife set was sold in Macy stores and online between Jan. 2014 and July 2017 for about $25, the company said.

Owners can return the set online or in a store for a full refund.
