3rd Man Arrested in Probe of London Subway Terror Attack

    Bomb on London Subway Leaves 29 Hurt at Rush Hour

    An improvised bomb that exploded on a London subway train during the height of the morning rush hour injured at least 29 people on Friday. Authorities say they are investigating the incident as a terror attack. (Published Friday, Sept. 15, 2017)

    A third man has been taken into custody on suspicion of playing a part in Friday's attack on a London subway, British authorities told NBC News Tuesday.

    The latest arrest took place Tuesday night in Wales, where detectives charged a 25-year-old man on terrorism charges, London police said.

    Two other men, arrested the day after the attack, remain police custody.

    None of the three have been publicly named by authorities.
