Missouri Highway Patrol Capt. Ron Johnson credited community elders and the clergy with helping to bring a “different dynamic” to a tenth night of protests in Ferguson over the police killing of Michael Brown, NBC News reported. Johnson said that while 47 people were arrested Tuesday and early Wednesday, “there were no Molotov cocktails tonight, there were no shootings.” Police used a “limited” amount of pepper spray, not tear gas, he said.
