A Zion man was arrested Monday for allegedly selling cocaine in the north suburbs and Kenosha, Wisconsin.
Diego A. Zuniga, 32, faces felony charges of delivery of cocaine, possession of over 15 grams of cocaine and unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon, the Lake County sheriff’s office said in a statement.
Undercover detectives observed him selling cocaine on multiple occasions in Beach Park, Zion and Kenosha, the sheriff’s office said. He was arrested Monday after officers saw a drug sale in Zion. Officers also recovered a blunt-force object which he wasn’t allowed to own due to previous felonies.
Zuniga is being held on $250,000 bail and is scheduled to appear in court Oct. 17.
