A young female jogger was sexually assaulted in the southwest suburbs on Sunday, police said.
The incident occurred around 10:30 a.m. along the Illinois Michigan Canal Bike Path near Larkin Avenue south of I-80, between the Joliet and Rockdale area, Rockdale police said.
The suspect was described as a male in his late 20s to early 30s, between 5’08”and 5’10”, according to police. He also had black hair, and was wearing dark sweatpants, white t-shirt, and a long sleeved orange shirt.
State police are going over reviewing surveillance video that may be in the area to get a better description of the man.
The victim will be meeting with a sketch artist on Tuesday.
