Yoan Moncada Walks it Off vs. the Astros

It's been a tough year for Chicago White Sox fans, but they got a glimpse of a brighter future on Thursday thanks to Yoan Moncada.

Moncada, who has begun heating up after a sluggish start to his first season with the White Sox, came up with the game-winning run on second base in extra innings, and he finished off the game in style:

The infielder also hit his first home run as a member of the White Sox in the game against the Houston Astros. With the win, the White Sox got their first ever series sweep over the Astros in regular season play (they also swept the Astros in the 2005 World Series), and they finished off one of their best series of the season.

Moncada's batting average is still on the low side at .213, but his on-base percentage has climbed to nearly .400, and his eye at the plate has impressed coaches and fans alike.
