Yellow Line Trains Suspended for Tree on Tracks

The Chicago Transit Authority suspended Yellow Line trains Saturday morning due tree that fell on the tracks.

Transit personnel responded about 6:20 a.m. for a tree that fell on the northbound Yellow Line tracks near Howard, according to CTA spokesman Steve Mayberry.

Shuttle buses were available to provide service throughout the entire span of the Yellow Line, Howard said.

CTA personnel were working to restore service.
